Interaction Design, DAQRI

During my time at DAQRI, I worked on the the design team for the Core Applications group. This involved collaboration with fellow designers, engineers, and product managers to execute on software development cycle from concept to product.

My primary tasks involved UX design for augmented reality. This involved research and development in several arenas, and rapid software prototyping for DAQRI Smart devices using C# and Unity.

Additionally, I was a co-inventor on several published patents. These included a novel gazed-based interaction system and handheld controller for AR. For the latter, I was on the team which prototyped both the hardware and software. The device incorporates a touch surface with tactile click, haptic feedback, bluetooth connectivity and 6 DOF tracking.
