R+D of novel approaches to user interaction in AR. Development of shaders. Experimentation with various CV libraries and sensor fusion methods. May 2017 - Current

Independant AR/VR developer

Solo developer of Spoke, an augmented reality music visualizer application currently in development for iOS and Hololens. Ink, a VR mesh drawing tool for HTC Vive utilizing Unity mesh instancing. Stereowalk, an application that allows interactivity in otherwise static cinematic VR, using Jaunt Stereoscopic 3D Camera.

December 2016 - Current

Interaction designer. Design team for Core Applications group. Primary concern was UX design for augmented reality. Rapid software prototyping for DAQRI Smart devices using C# and Unity. Exploring user input methods, peripheral devices, and information visualization techniques. Conducting user testing sessions and other experiments. Analyzing/classifying data and presenting results to superiors across design, engineering, and product. Generating UX flows and UI assets still used in the the core Daqri software. Co-inventor on several patent applications published and pending.

April 2016 - May 2017

Researcher, School of Cinematic Arts, USC. Research and development in the Mobile and Environmental Media Lab. Assist in the design and engineering of VR tools and experiences for corporate and private clients. Projects include design fiction experiences, educational tools, and novel approaches to interaction in mixed reality. Platforms include HTC Vive, Oculus, Microsoft Hololens, Windows Mixed Reality, and Jaunt Camera.
